Yisrael Medad reports on it and makes some sensible comments about it here. I've barely bothered reading Derfner's idiotic rants for years, but heard about, and read in disgust (but not surprise), his recent post on his own blog justifying jihadist terror against Israelis. Derfner then took the post down and published an "apology" that actually is not a real retraction, just an attempt to fudge some of the wording.
Earlier in the day, before the news of Derfner's firing got out, Isi Leibler had this outstanding piece on this little scandal.
In justifying terrorism against Israelis, Derfner is far from unique; I heard that attitude voiced more than once by former Israeli-leftist friends. I no longer have friends who justify terrorism; nor are decent, normal people prepared to tolerate it anymore. The Post was hemorrhaging subscriptions in protest of Derfner's vile post, even though it wasn't published in the J. Post itself; and so it canned him.
Let’s begin with the Data Supplier. At this level, the leader is responsible for collecting and organizing data. This is a fundamental first step in bringing value to the organization, but represents no true partnership with the organization. Instead, the organization looks at your organization as a very basic service. Transactional systems will be bought, built and / or customized to collect data that’s filtered into the company, typically driven by operations strategically, but often funneled through the Finance organization.
