Egregious irresponsibility
There has been no change in the official Palestinian Authority's message--most significantly, to schoolchildren--that Israel is a hated, illegitimate entity. Yet Rice, Olmert, and Abbas push on. I don't blame Abbas--this "process" furthers his goals of dismantling Israel. The role of Rice and her boss, and of Olmert, is beyond outrageous; it's sickening. If anybody remembers that stuff about the road map, where there were supposed to be certain demands on the PA before Israel started committing suicide--the deal's off. They don't have to do anything. Here's an admirably calm and clear-headed analysis.
